Assisting Procurement Engineers and review their work.Reviewing Prepared Cost Comparison sheet and the corresponding budget assigned by Cost Control Department. Assigning the finish date for procurement Engineer's task, this shall be ahead by minimum one week from the planned date in Procurement internal process log and to assure compliance with these dates.Arranging post tender meeting with short listed Suppliers/Sub-Contractors including negotiation and preparing minutes of meeting.Coordination with different disciplines (i.e. Planning, Estimation, Top Management, Projects) for different related procurement issues.Controlling and Monitoring Approved list of Sub-Contractors/Suppliers as required in company Procurement Procedures.Attending different management periodic meetings and follow up minutes of meeting/actions required by Procurement Department.Reviewing of prepared letter of Intent and Contract Agreement and assuring that it complies to company quality standard.Following up for the signature of Letter of Intents and Sub-Contract Agreements with the Sub-Contractors.Preparing Procurement internal process list for Sub-Contractors and supplier's including the update on weekly basis.

Researches, writes, evaluates and approves complex bid proposals, contracts and specifications for the purchasing of complex, high-tech and capital equipment, materials and services. Confers with engineering, operations, maintenance and other technical personnel to develop detailed and technical specifications. Researches and recommends type and quality of materials, supplies and equipment.Establishes priorities and standards for procurement projects and contracts. Attends post-bid meetings and explains and interprets specifications and standards to vendors.Ensures bid invitations are distributed and bid opening dates are advertised. Interprets, evaluates and reviews bids, contracts and proposals for content and conformance to specifications. Makes oral and written presentations on recommendations for purchases requiring upper management approval. Receiving Procurement Requisition with full Packages for each material from sites.Checking and studying the specification, BOQ, and drawings attached with the packagesPreparing the list of vendors as per consultant vendor list or from approved database.Enquiry will be sent to Vendors.Daily follow-up to sub contractors/suppliers for quotations.Quotations will be received by suppliers/sub-contractors.Evaluation to be prepared with technical specifications comparison and budget.Preparing procurement reports.Update supplier's data on Master list.Visiting Sites and dealing with Client, Consultant and site management to solve the Technical ProblemsMeeting with new suppliers/subcontractors that maybe of use for future work.
