Experienced CEO in the energy transition arena. Founder & CEO of Endurant Energy a full service developer and EPC business in the Distributed Energy Resources space. Endurant Energy has built and owned some of the most iconic distributed energy projects on both sides of the Atlantic, including microgrids, Energy Foundations, BESS and Fuel cells as well as Combined Heat and Power systems. Major clients include Google, Home depot, Cornell University, ConED, Walgreens, NineDot, Catalyze, and Summit Ridge.Created three successful exits - in the UK to SSE plc, in the US to Shell and most recently to LS Power. Led a number of acquisitions to broaden Endurant's value proposition, including GEOptimize, the market leader in GSHP and energy modeling. As a serving Board Director during this time, I have gained huge insights into the way boards operate and function, providing the ownership with clear and timely information for strategic decision making. The different investment styles from UK plc, to Global Energy player to US based Private Equity firm have given me a unique perspective on the role of a CEO reporting in to the Board. Pioneered Heating as a Service in the UK with Octopus Energy and raised $200m in the US to support Endurant's ambition to own its own assets, including the first distributed batteries in NYC using an innovative Energy as a Service model.Previously worked as a top rated equity analyst in the UK for Merrill Lynch covering telecoms, media and technology in the EMEA markets. Led multiple IPOs, capital raises and privatizations and advised major investment institutions including Capital, Fidelity, William Blair, State Street, Schroders and JP Morgan Asset Management.Qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte and gained experience in the construction and technology sectors, as well as spending time in corporate tax and corporate recovery departments.Delivering sustainable energy solutions in today's world is one of the biggest challenges facing society and being part of this is both hugely exciting and rewarding.
