Perform software engineering testing in support of the Westinghouse nuclear core analysis and monitoring software systems in a strongly regulated software environment. Activities include tasks such as review of software requirements, development of software test plans including identification of test acceptance criteria, development of test case inputs and descriptions of expected results, execution of software test plans, and documentation of tasks, results, and conclusions in each of these activities.

The Technical Trainer is responsible for raising the level of product knowledge for both internal and external stakeholders. This includes planning, coordinating, conducting, and evaluating training programs and distributing product knowledge to internal constituents and external customers. This position supports Seegrid success by ensuring that repeatable, complete, and timely training and product information is presented to end users, and those end users become proficient users of our products. The position requires day-to-day interaction with most internal functions at Seegrid and with customers.Key Responsibilities:- Complete training needs assessment to determine future course needs or apply course material updates as warranted.- Develop training content and plan class schedule for hands-on training sessions.- Conduct training classes to both internal and external customers, based on job-specific or task-specific guidelines.- Evaluate and improve training through experience and feedback from students.- Maintain technical knowledge of the rapidly changing product portfolio to deliver the training with confidence.- Create, expand, maintain, and distribute a knowledge base of technical product information.

Discern ways that products will be used and find corresponding specifications. Document specifications clearly for Testing Department and “Seegrid Academy” use. Communicate with Product, Engineering, Testing, Customer Success, Sales, Service, and Application Engineering departments to learn more about the use of the products. Assist in information proliferation within the company (“Seegrid Academy”). Fill out backlog of new product ideas and assess feasibility given extensive knowledge of products.

Would install software on a robot and then complete rigorous performance tests to make sure that everything worked to spec and was within the applicable standards. Additionally, designed new test cases and consulted with Product Management and Development teams to make sure that all new features were tested in real-world scenarios.
