Provided data analysis and review of financials, with a focus on variance analysis. Generated journal entries in compliance with GAAP and Darigold company policies and served as a backup to the controller. Researched and suggested an update to a Cheese Curd formulation, which was causing COGS to be off by over a million dollars.

Ensured proper accounting associated with any approved claims and worked with the customer and/or A/R on invalid claims. Designed, created and implemented a sales database used by regional and national account managers. This database was designed to increase productivity, collective collaboration and security of information.
