Thomas Cheung is a graduate of Bachelor of Music, specializing in violin classical performance, at the Elder Conservatorium at the University of Adelaide. He has previously learned from Elizabeth Layton and Madeline Melrose. During his studies, Thomas has been a resilient musician who committed to chamber and orchestral ensembles, such as Adelaide Baroque Academy, Elder Conservatorium Chamber, and Symphony Orchestra. He also played in chamber groups. Thomas was the director of the Friends of the Library Concert, ‘Musical Fusion- East meets West’. The goal of curating this concert is to allow opportunities for student musicians to perform and bring Baroque and Chinese music to the audience. Thomas teaches beginners from 6 years old to advanced students, mostly in private lessons and studios.
