- Contributed to the growth and stability of a reverse proxy layer for the retail website, implementing various feature requests from partner teams as well as serving on-call- Triaged and remediated multiple production issues, including a widespread out-of-memory issue across multiple hosts causing a 100% availability drop for all incoming customer requests- Designed and implemented a page-targeted load shedding algorithm which rejected incoming requests under severe load based on a priority queue ordered by criticality to the customer experience, resulting in a 3% order rate increase during high velocity events- Integrated a partner teams product with the system which provided additional debugging information to each request, refactoring the existing codebase as necessary and optimizing the dependency graph to ensure no latency regressions were induced

- Designed and led the integration of a standardized training process for new instructors, training over 10 new employees- Provided descriptive progress updates for each student and communicated them directly to theprimary instructors, influencing the short and long term planning of the students’ lesson plans
