I am a full stack (frontend leaning) engineer working on Skydio Cloud, a web portal allowing our enterprise customers to fully control (and even pilot) a fleet of drones from the browser. I build features and fix bugs on our React-based web client. I release new features using an internal feature flag and canary-style deployment. I coordinate production releases as part of a rotational on-call system.In my first year at Skydio, on the Manufacturing Software Team, I was responsible for the full stack application running on all manufacturing line computers in all our facilities across the country. I routinely build new features for the React/Redux application that line operators use when assembling vehicles. Behind the scenes, I build and maintain API endpoints for our backend, written in Python Flask, and query our PostgreSQL database with the help of SQLAlchemy. I also make use of Ansible to configure steps to frequently deploy new releases to the line computers, AWS to host cloud infrastructure, Terraform to make changes to said cloud infrastructure, Github for version control, and Jenkins for CI/CD.

Using Angular, RxJS and NgRx, I wrote, maintained, and released production-grade, reactive state features for Capital One's website. My team was responsible for certain placements on Account Summary, a Capital One account holder's default landing page.I was also tasked with using Java, Spring Boot and JMeter to build backend logic in between Capital One's web client and its APIs. This layer made multiple API calls on behalf of the web client and returned one cohesive response per request.In my first year at the company, I worked with AWS serverless cloud computing technologies to help build out Eratocode, Capital One Cyber's internal tool for finding and eliminating production code vulnerabilities. Day to day tasks included writing AWS Lambda code in Typescript, provisioning different pieces of AWS infrastructure (SQS Queues, SNS topics, Cloudwatch Alarms, etc), and going on production support.

I provided laboratory assistance and instruction to fellow computer science and engineering majors in computer science classes at Notre Dame. From January to May of 2018, I assisted in the instruction of Logic Design, a core CSE course that teaches Boolean algebra and logic and how it works in the operation of sequential machines. From August to December of 2018, I will be assisting in the instruction of another core CSE course, Fundamentals of Computing, that explains basic computing concepts via the language of C++. And from January to May of 2019, I helped teach Principles of Computing to Arts and Letters students who had never coded before.
