The Service Delivery role involves greeting claimants as they arrive at the job centre and guiding them to the Work Coach conducting their appointment. This can be quite complex at times as many claimants have a range of barriers preventing them from either communicating succinctly or remembering who their assigned Work Coach is.The role can be quite varied and is not limited to the above, as well as directing the footfall into the job centre correctly I also perform a range of administrative duties to ease the burden of my colleagues.Rarely I will have to take the appropriate action in case of emergency to safeguard my colleagues and any occupants in the building.

Using my sound judgment and analytical skills to help people through difficult times, providing tailored coaching to help people build up their ability to look for jobs, move closer to work, and to progress in work. Providing support to claimants with complex needs and referring them to a corresponding professional service for further support. Keeping up to date with guidance and applying that guidance practically.
