I played a key role in the construction of M3; Europes largest pulsed power machine capable of delivering 14 MA. I then conducted the initial experiments on this facility to characterise it's electrical characteristics. In addition, I have used hydrodynamic codes to simulate experimental loads and targets for fusion.

I have run experiments on the Mega Ampere Generator for Plasma Implosion Experiments (MAGPIE) facility at Imperial College to study radiative shocks in noble gases. I have conducted regular maintenance and repairs of the facility, and developed electronic systems to handle laser safety and timing of diagnostics and triggering.

I conducting experiments on the 4 kJ national laboratory laser to study counter propagating radiative shocks in noble gases. I was responsible for prepading targets, designing the shot schedule and in processing X-ray images. I played a central role in analysing the data, presenting my findings at the international HEDLA and APS conferences and writing an.

I have served as president of the Imperial College Robotics Society where I organised and led many student lead projects, some of which competed internationally. In addition, I organised lectures from high profile experts in the field and run the Imperial Robotics 101 course, teaching the basics of robotics and microcontrollers.
