• New model strategic development and refinements of Body Shop processes for lean manufacturing focusing on process flow, automation, operator workstations, manpower/automation utilizations, standardized work development and ergonomics.• Integral member in technical exchanges, problem-solving, driving manufacturing improvements between the Global ME Commodity and the Plant Production Team. • Senior Regional Engineer for the Indiana and Illinois production facilities• Process Engineering - process planning, new/refurbished equipment process planning, equipment installations/start-up activities, kaizen improvements, cycletime reductions, and process improvements,• Quality - assembly and component part quality investigations including countermeasure implementations to meet corporate quality targets. Interface with suppliers on quality related issues and improvements. • Gate Review presentations and weekly plant-wide projects status reporting with the customer focusing on KPI’s (safety, quality, equipment readiness, and process efficiency)• Leadership - provide direction and mentoring to entry and mid-level engineers related to processing and problem resolution.

• Process Engineering - establish assembly processes, manpower loading, and new equipment requirements by evaluating single parts and assembly structures, identify critical datum points and determine process location points to achieve and maintain consistent quality targets. Develop Operation Description Sheets (ODS) utilizing standardized time studies. Assist in budget development and budget tracking.• Equipment Planning – develop new equipment specifications, design requirements, and equipment layouts for efficient material handling and process flow. Develop equipment RFQ’s, perform build vendor evaluations, and selection of equipment builders. Monitor the equipment build process for adherence to engineering specifications, perform progress reviews, and final equipment buy-offs both domestically and internationally. Prepare equipment installation specifications and RFQ’s. Manage the equipment installation and start-up process. • Quality - perform quality investigations and implement tooling modifications for assembly accuracy. Coordinate and implement Engineering Orders/Engineering Change Requests with Manufacturing, Production Planning, Tooling, and Quality departments.• Productivity – continuous improvements to processes such as equipment operation, robot teaching modifications, and operator job processes resulting in equipment disturbance reductions and maximizing assembly throughput.• Teamwork - Evaluate and implement ergonomic improvements in cooperation with production associates. Work closely as engineering support regarding equipment and quality related issues and assist in solutions throughout the life of the vehicle platform.

• Responsibility over multiple assembly lines (front doors, rear doors, and tailgates). Duties comprised of the evaluation and implementation of changes to current model equipment resulting in cycletime reductions, process improvements, and assembly quality improvements without disturbances to production.• Body Shop Model Coordinator – responsibilities included coordination and budget tracking of all related part changes and equipment modifications for the Body Shop
