Research service, processing of archival material in the Robinson-Spangler Carolina Room,

Provide information service to users of the Library's new Job Help Center. Maintain database of selected job opportunities. Teach technology classes.

Doing research for visitors to the Carolina Room, which is the local history and genealogical collection of the Public Library of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County.

Adjunct Faculty member in History Department. Teaching introductory and upper level History classes with cross-listings in Religion and Amercan Studies. Have also taught sections of Liberal Studies.

As a special task, I led the implementation of an online conferencing service for the library. I selected a service, introduced it to staff, and designed programs to be offered in this new medium.

Reference work, collection management, programs for adults

I was a member of the department of History, teaching upper-level and survey courses in American and world history. I advised students and served on committees.
