CARE WASH Department provides Water and Sanitation to the Ifo and Dagahaley Camps which incorporate over half of the refugee population in Dadaab.• WASH Department operates 14 Boreholes (~150 meters) with pumps and generators to supply water to 21 Elevated Steel Tanks (100 and 150 M^3 Tanks) prior to distribution to the system.• Lead an initiative to develop a Geospatial Database for CARE’s Data in Dadaab using PostgreSQL.• Started the Dadaab Geo-Information Users Group to promote networking of GIS Professionals and sharing of information and ideas amongst NGO agencies and staff.

Provided hydrologic and water quality modeling support to the Team. Results were then used in the Reservoir Operation Optimization Model and a Water Quality analysis.Project Manager for three Urban Stormwater Retrofits in Martin and St. Lucie Counties, which received over $1,000,000 worth of grants from SFWMD. Fieldwork included stream-gauging canals to calibrate flow equations for structures and pumps. Authored a FORTRAN program to load multiple array data into the data base. Received a WRE Timer Powers Award for this task. Automated the load process for the incoming data received via the ARDAMS network saving a cumulative of over 800 hours per year compared to 20 technicians that previously hand loaded each dataset on a daily basis.
