Coastal Ecosystems Department, - February 1996 - May 2007.Co-Chairman of the Modeling Sub Team for the Indian River Lagoon Project Implementation Report a CERP Project. Provided hydrologic and water quality modeling support to the Team. Results were then used in the Reservoir Operation Optimization Model and a Water Quality analysis.Project Manager for three Urban Stormwater Retrofits in Martin and St. Lucie Counties, which received over $1,000,000 worth of grants from SFWMD. Tasks included developing Scopes of Work, reviewing deliverables and invoices, and keeping project schedule.Project Manager of two Basin Studies which included Hydrologic & Hydraulic Modeling. Provide direction to the consultant for the study and ensure an accurate calibration to complete successfully the project.Project Manager of the Loxahatchee River Preservation Initiative (LRPI) which included over 45 projects to improve and protect the natural resources within the Loxahatchee River Estuary or Watershed. Responsible for managing projects that total over $26,000,000. The LRPI included eleven local and state governmental entities and nonprofit organizations. Project management included developing Scopes of Work, reviewing deliverables, and keeping projects on time. www.lrpi.usWater Resource Evaluation Department, February 1994 - February 1996Used graphical software applications to evaluate, interpret and approve hydrologic & meteorological data. Fieldwork included stream-gauging canals to calibrate flow equations for structures and pumps. Authored a FORTRAN program to load multiple array data into the data base. Received a WRE Timer Powers Award for this task. Automated the load process for the incoming data received via the ARDAMS network saving a cumulative of over 800 hours per year compared to 20 technicians that previously hand loaded each dataset on a daily basis.
