In my current position as a senior AMT, I worked with department management to create follow on mechanic OJT training programs. I have assisted in the development, verification, and QA review of new maintenance procedures and inspection checklists. I have mentored junior mechanics in first leaderships roles. I am responsible for maintaining compliance with all laws, regulations, and obligations in all theaters of work for the company. Also for maintaining a safe and productive working environment in accordance with all established operating policies.

As a Spec III I was responsible for performing and leading the full spectrum of operations, maintenance, inspections, and documentation on MQ-1 and MQ-9 UAV aircraft. I have acted as lead mechanic at overseas deployment sites 5 times and as first shift lead at the Palmdale Flight Test Facility twice. I have taken every opportunity to train junior personnel, work to improve IETMs and tech data, and work with engineering to identify and resolve hardware and software issues in the field.

As a Spec II I gained experience in maintenance, flight operations, documentation, production and testing of MQ-1 and MQ-9 UAVs. I took my first shift lead position running 3rd shift in the winter of 2009-10. I took my first deployed lead mechanic position in 2010 and relocated a major customer site downrange. While deployed for the US Navy customer at China Lake I helped identify and resolve major electrical system issues with the MQ-9.

As a Spec I, I obtained my DOD security clearance and went on my first overseas deployment, standing up a new customer maintenance site. I qualified on both MQ-1 and MQ-9 UAV aircraft and completed Honeywell’s engine certification on the TPE331 power plant.
