Duties;Reading, analysing and reporting on funding applications, Use of CRM systems, Zoom consultations, Peer reviewThis was my last role for the Community Organisations Cost of Living Fund. I was part of a team tasked with writing assessments for funding applications for community projects such as food banks, homeless shelters and specialist support services. Whilst this was a very rewarding role to work in, I feel I am no longer suited to desk work.

Duties;Guiding candidates through the online application and DBS processes, Checking and filing ID documents, Email and phone liaison, Excel spreadsheet processingMy main duties involved filing the forms that Royal Mail candidates fill out for their DBS checks, in the majority of cases following up with phone calls to guide them through the process. I also assisted consultants nationwide with recruitment for NHS roles during the last year of my employment. This required sharp attention to detail to spot errors in applications and working with the applicants to fix them in a timely manor.

The long and often labour intensive hours have not been without their stresses, but through tight nit teamwork and often sheer mental determination we are able to rise to any challenge. I have exceeded all my own expectations in this job and can honestly say I have loved working there.

Duties;-Managing the interview and recruitment processes.-Answering the phone.-Filing.-Organising.-Arranging meetings.-Liaising with staff about pay checks.I was employed by a support work charity for people with autism, learning difficulties and mental health issues. Having never worked in an office environment before, I felt the need to prove to myself that I could adapt my work habits and learn the role quickly. Due to the nature of the charity, I was educated on safeguarding issues as part of my training.I redesigned the recruitment process during my time in this position, making it much more efficient than it had been. I gained a great deal of satisfaction from helping people get into careers that were right for them, assigning candidates to 30 different wards across the region, each with their own specific requirements. I received much praise for my efforts from the support work staff who were hiring and maintained close communication with them and the candidates throughout.

This was originally intended to be a temporary position until I returned to university after a year out, however I saw myself excelling in this position and decided to take advantage of the opportunity to develop sales and customer service skills. I worked hard there, becoming a top seller and taking on unofficial coaching roles despite this bringing no increase in pay.
