• Recruited for a net new position to completely remake the back-end of a complex high end North American furniture retailer• Responsible for Procurement of Bespoke high end furniture from across Europe and Brazil including pricing, payment terms, crating for import, and marketing allowances• Manage Logistics and Supply Chain for importing from Europe and Brazil into Canada and the United States• Manage the Logistics and Supply Chain for exporting of goods for client projects all over the World• Develop strategy for global supply chain and procurement and work with Directors to implement and execute per KPI development and change management• Develop strategy for North American inventory tranfers between showroom locations• Inventory Control for Toronto corporate warehouse, along with showrooms in Toronto, Miami, Vancouver, and New York.• Manage 3PL relationships and negotiation for 3PL warehouses in New York, Miami, Munich, and Vancouver. 3PL warehouses responsible for inventory storage, inventory control, white glove delivery services• Ensure white glove delivery service for all clientele through last mile delivery providers across all of North America and Europe• Manage corporate warehouse staff responsible for inbound and outbound freight as well as white glove deliveries to high end clientele across the GTA(fleet of 3 delivery vans)• Responsible for all internal processes after the sale from procurement, import, storage, right through to delivery to the end client including budgeting and P&L accountability• Responsible for implementing value added reporting to allow company ownership to have metrics needed related to Operations performance• Manage the Corporate Social Responsibility program strategy and execution, including engaging staff and associates from across North America• Responsible for change management across the organization as new strategies and processes where developed and rolled out across the company

-Cost centre controllership responsibilities-Negotiate contracts with warehousing partners-Responsible for ensuring software meets the needs of the business as we move into the future-Create business roadmap showing gaps and defects in system as it relates to new redemption offers in pipeline. -Negotiate terms for new redemption offers-Manage Corporate Month end close for Redemption G/L (Retail Reward/Airmiles Cash portfolios)-Work with external/external auditors-Provide forecast for monthly redemption cycle and compare to actual. Understand business cycle and seasonality, cash flow requirements-Continually develop and create value added dashboards for Marketing and Finance Executive teams-Manage cost templates and analyze monthly actuals vs forecasts. Develop tools to understand cost drivers and implement change where necessary.-Full cycle A/R/A/P management in a fast paced, high volume environment -Inventory management, including adjustments, physical count, and relationship management/contract negotiation with 3PL warehouses -Develop procedures and processes to be followed by 3PL's in accordance to courier claims, damaged inventory, receiving accuracy, and product substitutions. Institute and manage service level agreements.-Analyze inventory levels to determine obsolescence-Bridge gap between finance, supply chain, procurement, and IT-Business product owner for highly visible ERP software conversion and after launch.-Business lead for all new projects and or programs that will have a financial impact.-Create and Prioritize ERP software roadmap-Create SOX narrative and ensure that these controls are met and revisited as needed-Work with external sponsors such as Rexall, Shell, Metro, for new programmatic changes to ensure the payment cycle will remain stable-Manage direct reports and ensure that their annual goals are in line with corporate objectives
