Enlisting in the United States Marine Corps during my senior year of high school was the best decision I could have made. Serving five years in the Marine Corps gave me the communication and management skills to effectively integrate into any team environment. I effectively used these skills at a security company, managing two different properties within my two years there, while going to school at Moorpark Community College full time. I have always had an interest in business. Pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Economics only seemed natural because of my interests and my problem solving skills I had developed over the years in the military and managing a security team. After attending Drexel, I had the opportunity to develop my financial modeling skills at PFM as a Quantitative Strategies Group Co-op for 6-months. Being apart of the team was a natural feeling for me and learning about the municipal market was interesting. The most interesting part of my time there was learning VBA and creating financial models. Following graduation I was fortunate enough to build my analytical skills with the City of Philadelphia as well as hone my communication and writing abilities. I look forward to continue building my analytical skills and learning new software/programming languages for an exciting opportunity in data analytics.
