Served during exciting period for reform of Cleveland City Charter, reducing City Council from 33 to 21 members, and strong effort at county charter that laid groundwork for ultimate success in 21st Century. Worked on candidate interviews and endorsements.

Litigation associate on product liability defense, asbestos/toxic tort, premises liability, and general litigation for individuals and corporations.

- Special Counsel to City of Cleveland Water Department on regionalization litigation by suburbs. Left for sole practice while candidate for Ohio Senate seat for Cleveland and Westshore suburbs.

Worked on appellate cases in nine of the eleven circuits of the U.S. Court of Appeals while Justice Clark traveled to sit on those panels by special appointment. Worked to complete Special Master's Report in New Hampshire vs. Maine, "the lobster war". Also had the distinct privilege to be at the Supreme Court with a fabulous collection of law clerks who.
