Cirque Energy was a sustainable renewable energy development company focus on distributed generation projects and waste stream optimization. Provided oversight and direction to monitor the financial health of the company and leveraged Board governance to drive consensus on critical strategic decisions in partnership with the Chief Executive Officer.

Established Cirque to research, fund, and pilot alternative fuel technologies that challenged traditional principles of waste management, power systems, and landfill operations. Led business strategies by providing the vision and purpose to advance the company’s mission and objectives as a Michigan-based renewable energy development firm. Key Achievements:Led the research, construction, and pilot of an innovative deployable gasification unit (DGU) which served as Cirque’s proprietary technology. Engaged by a major military supplier to design and complete proof of concept (POC) for a DGU that would be deployed in active military theaters. Requirements included: startup and shutdown less than 4 hours, transportation via standard military vehicles, ability to destroy all organic materials and convert to electricity. Engaged by Fortune 100 to design and test proof of concept (POC) and develop a go to market strategy for 100% effective cradle to grave solution for all plastics manufactured.

Led a 300-person operation and a 30-person design build division to accomplish established goals, objectives, and initiatives within the firm’s annual business plan and strategic master plan.
