I have recently graduated with a First-class degree in Physiology (Physical Activity & Health) that has provided me with a solid academic background and a theoretical understanding of the entire body’s systems. During my degree I gained the skills to produce high quality work with attention to detail, the ability to communicate at a professional level using verbal, listening and written skills. During my degree I studied how the body’s systems interact from the cellular level to the whole organ system in promoting mental and physical health. In undertaking a wide range of physiological assessments in group based laboratory sessions I learned how to measure BMI, weight, body fat, blood pressure, blood glucose levels which will be helpful in assessing patient health.Self-motivation is my key internal driving force that keeps me pushing my own boundaries in developing a greater understanding of my mental and physical goals and accompanied by proactive learning this drives me to approach new challenges. My study pathway has solidified my desire to look for meaning in what I do. To provide care and support to those in need whilst applying my technical knowledge and experience based wellbeing insights, and looking for a career that meets my purpose.
