Senior Solution Engineer
CurrentMy core development languages are: Java, Oracle SQL, React.js / ES6, JavaScript, Python, XML, Spring Boot, Java EE.Responsibilities: - I'm 1 of 4 developers on a modified agile product line team consisting of 18 team members.-Currently working on upgrading my company’s Identity and Access Management platform to the latest release of Oracle’s Identity governance framework. I’m developing custom solutions to enhance Oracles Identity Governance platform, working primarily with React.js / Spring boot. I’m also working on moving several custom projects to modern frameworks and delivery platforms such as OpenShift, Argo, Artifactory, and GitHub Actions. - I'm have developed a homegrown enterprise web application to allow internal application owners to maintain and manage their applications access. The tech deck for this web application consist of the following. (React.js, bootstrap front end. Java, Oracle SQL backend. Hosted on an Oracle WebLogic server).- I've helped set up a continuous delivery / continuous integration system by setting our custom applications up on a Jenkins deployment pipeline.- I continuously develop in, and maintain our company's use of Oracle's Identity Access Management platform. Development within this vendor product consist primarily of Java, XML, and Oracle SQL.- I design wireframes and workflows for our custom web applications, as well as participate in user acceptance testing / feedback meetings.- Previous member and co-chair of AEP's IT Culture Committee. This committee consist of 15 members and oversees the development and cultivation of workplace culture within the IT business unit of our company. We take the results from a yearly survey conducted by Gallup that measures AEP's total employee engagement to come up with actionable ways to help progress our company into the top decile of all companies that participate in the Gallup survey nationwide.
