I have gained my NVQ Level 2 and 3 in mechanical engineering marine engineering as well as gaining valuable work experience in the Royal Navy. In my seven years in the Royal Navy I have also gained a Level 4 in leadership. I am a self motivated, reliable team player who is capable of working to deadlines and targets in high pressure situations. My excellent communication skills help enable me to relate to people at all levels within an organization, whilst remaining focused on the requirements at hand. Although mainly having streamed with an electrical bias I also have experience with other engineering systems such as HP/LP Air, hydraulics/ pneumatic pumps, Gas Turbines and many more. Through careful PPM (planned preventative maintenance) and organizational awareness I achieve the best outcome possible. I am also a proven leader and mentor, ranging from leading a firefighting/flooding team in genuine emergencies on board ship, or helping to coach peers in machinery breakdown drills.
