While at the LDO I have worked with three different marketing teams, giving me a range of marketing teaching and experience. At the start of my internship, my main responsibilities included: updating and creating content for the website and social media platforms, liaising with retailers to gather information on new offers/ campaigns and giving aid/ assistance to the Wembley stadium June events. Midway through my internship, the head of marketing and marketing manager left the company. Due to my performance, my contract was extended to a full year and subsequently, my role changed massively.At the end of my internship, I was responsible for liaising with external agencies such as the Wembley Park site, planning and creating our summer campaign 'Fest For All', creating weekly reports/ evaluations alongside my previous responsibilities. Additionally, I was responsible for planning and organising our Halloween, Purple Tuesday and Elf Week/ Christmas campaigns. I enjoy and thrive in being in a modern and digitally evolving marketing team.

During my apprenticeship, I gained a Level 2 Apprenticeship in Marketing. This role gave me a structured and practical approach to work, while also improving my ability to work independently and under pressure. A key role was setting up and managing various social media platforms; Twitter (https://twitter.com/HenleyHawks), Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/henley.hawks/) and YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9Yt9_tNajB51iU87nsV3JQ).I taught myself how to use Squarespace and created the club’s new website, with the aim of attracting more people to match days; which I recorded and edited highlight footage for, created match reports and ensured the day ran smoothly.

Following a competitive selection process I successfully undertook a six-month paid internship at The Marketing Society. I fully immersed myself into the day-to-day practices of this organization and was given responsibility within the global expansion team, with a particular focus in Asia, Dubai, New York and New Delhi. Other responsibilities included finding and uploading content for the website, managing corporate members, sending out communications to members by using ‘dotmailer’ as well as planning and organizing international events.
