I have spent the last 17 years in the military and left as a colour sergeant but now moving on with my life. I spent the first few months as an apprentice ranger for the national trust of which I thoroughly enjoyed and gained some invaluable land based experience. whilst volunteering I led volunteer tasks and really enjoyed being outdoors. During this time I managed to get my first aid course (forestry), chainsaw training up to small tree felling and my bush cutter qualification. this is where I would like to be in my next career but due to life and financial restraints I've had to take a detour on my land based career and now work for Hillier's garden centre and have been lucky enough to start working with an exciting company called activ adventures. I now help out as warehouse assistant mataining, issuing and reconditioning all of there expedition kit equipment which they use for duke of Edinburgh awards expeditions.
