    A typical day would be to arrive at the airport a hour before the flight departure for our crew briefing in which to be allowed to operate the flight each crew member had to answer a series of security and first aid questions.We would confirm what sectors we would be flying and the timings for the flight that would be given to us by the pilots. They would also tell us any other information that may affect the flight ie weather and alternative airport for landing if needed to divert if weather was poor at the original destination.I would board the aircraft with my team and we would inspect the airport for any suspicious items and also check that everything was satisfactory ie oxygen bottles where stowed and correct and in a working order, fire extinguishers and first aid kits also satisfactory.Once all onboard checks where complete we would prepare for boarding and one crew member assist at the gate for the boarding process. I would need to check boarding passes and passports to ensure people board the correct flight and also they have the correct document for travel.After boarding was complete we would secure the aircraft for departure and do the initial safety briefing, during the flight we would be selling items from the trolley to passengers.
