Directed and executed all technical aspects of creating an Apple app store deployed iPhone solution from a conceptual document. The application detects high frequency audio codes embedded in streaming media. These codes uniquely identify products as they appear during playback allowing the app to retrieve product data and images creating a pleasing shopping experience. The application architecture consists of a cloud based SQL Server Database and .Net web services providing program/product data and images to the mobile app on demand. This supports the business model which requires the regular addition of new program/products as new streams are embedded with the audio codes.

Designer, developer and team lead for a small group of developers, delivered a second generation distributed application interfacing with medical institutions to securely deliver patient data for evaluation by experts via the internet. Technologies used, SSL, WCF, SQLServer, ASP.NET, MVC2. Technical lead for a website redesign, responsible for the complete technical solution. As a subcontractor to a digital agency I analyzed the website of a popular children's TV character, designed and implemented a new data driven site using SQLServer, ASP.Net and the Microsoft Model View Controler. The new architecture supports the large number of characters, multiple languages and rich visual content. The solution includes a large amount of new and repurposed images, flash assets as well as new content. Advertisements and videos are streamed by 3rd party servers. Regionally appropriate SEO and tracking metadata are managed by the database and applied to specific pages at runtime.

Part of a team working with Microsoft to integrate Visual Studio Team Foundation Server into the Credit Derivatives group. This required working with Microsoft consultants on site, analyzing the existing process, project file conversion, migration strategy; implementation and training UBS personnel in the new agile development process and supporting tools in VSTFS. Followed up with a report analyzing agile adoption progress, the report included recommendations for improving the process. Wrote Visual Studio extensions to help manage large projects' complexity and enforcement of group standards. The extension also identifies differences found between building a project in Visual Studio and on a TFS build server. Responsible for the analysis and reengineering of existing credit derivative programs. These programs were prototyped for a rapidly growing market in Excel VBA. This tool allows technically savvy traders to respond to their needs in the short term. I reverse engineered these prototypes into c# .NET desktop applications. This involved, analyzing and documenting the existing code, interviewing the traders, identifying common resource opportunities, designing and implementing new applications.

Managed a team of the client's technical and business resources to analyze and redesign an existing corporate extranet site for the leading corporate recognition program firm. This client has a large internal IT staff but lacks a systematic approach to software development. Provided lifecycle management and analysis guidance, including existing site audit, requirements development and technical design. This system serves hundreds of internal employees and thousands of their clients.Delivered an email solicitation and subscription renewal system for a major telecommunications company, Responsible for every aspect of the solution, from securing and configuring dedicated hosting to the design and implementation of the technical solution. Emails are generated and sent with embedded links directing contract holders to a web site to complete contract renewal. Personalized confirmation emails are sent back to the client as well as the client representative. Application is written in ASP.NET(C#) and data is stored in SQL Server database and accessed via ADO.NET. This system serves thousands of customers and is used on a regular basis as contracts expire.Delivered an online job search website for a natural language resource recruitment firm, using ASP.NET(C#), ADO.NET and SQL Server. Responsible for every aspect of technical design and implementation. This site is used by thousands of contractors seeking employment with federal agencies.Designed and implemented a PDA based quality control application and website for the residency department of a major metropolitan hospital. Residency department website including online student manual. The manual is stored in SQL Server and served dynamically as users navigate the site. The site uses a combination of client side script and server side ASP.NET/ADO.NET and SQL stored procedures to give the user a seamless navigation experience.

Responsible for the full product life cycle of a browser based marketing application. Specifically, requirements gathering, design, implementation, lead coding, deployment and field testing. Developed (designed and coded) a multithreaded application to generate dynamic content based on real time orders and push that content to remotely controlled web browsers. Developed (designed and coded) ATL hosted web browser client to receive pushed content on remote computers. I developed two versions of the web browser client. The Win32 client browser uses DCOM and the WinCE client uses sockets for the communication mechanism.
