The Production Coordinator is accountable for the development, coordination and communication of production, maintenance, project, change management, competence and turnaround plans within the field operations team. The position works in tandem with the Field superintendent to drive forward operational excellence across operating shifts, is accountable for certifying individual operator competence and progression, and ensures verification that all regulatory, legal and corporate requirements are fully executed by the field operations team. The position is accountable to create a field operations environment that continuously improves production outcomes and lowers operating costs. A line support position requiring well developed influencing, leadership and technical skills

Responsible for managing all aspects of Area Operations to achieve the safe, environmentally sound and efficient operation of the Cliffdale field.Provides strong visible leadership within the Operations area in the areas of safety, sustainable development, cost control, revenue generation and organizational effectiveness by managing the process and securing the resources to effectively manage field operations. Accountable for the contribution and leadership support to the Cold business unit by:• networking with internal and external stakeholders to meet Area objectives• actively participating as a member of the Cold Production Leadership Team• leading and supporting improvement initiatives for production.

The primary role is to provide the day to day focus to all field operational issues and to actively support the "how work gets done" process to ensure high reliability and availability together with optimization from the field equipment to deliver product from the wells. They will also provide daily support to Field Operators, the Field Coordinator, Maintenance & Technical Groups

Peace River(Cliffdale Heavy Oil Battery)

• Provide Shift Operating Team direction and leadership support on all Plant and Field day-to-day activities • Support accountability of ensuring overall Plant Safety and that each Plant Operation (Process, Utilities and Field Units) is at optimum in regards to Safety, Plant Efficiencies and meeting Environmental Standards. • Assists and facilitates the Operating Team Technicians (OTT) in providing a safe work environment for Maintenance and maintaining an efficient unit. • Maintains a good working relationship with all support groups in the Complex and takes on the team primary leadership role.Ensures that all Shift requirements have been completed (OIA, Daily Orders, SWP, LOTO, Logs, Manpower, etc).

Operate & maintain heavy oil & gas processing equipment, support plant optimization, complete daily route sheets, lockout equipment for maintenance purposes, train & mentor new operators on operational plant activities, complete Safe Work Permits for contractors; promote safety to contractors & other Shell employees, complete maintenance requests as required, operate facility control panel.

DATA GATHERING FOR DAILY PRODUCTION NUMBERS. GENERAL OPERATING AND MAINTENANCE OF WELLSITES ALONG WITH ONGOING OPTIMIZATION OF WELLS AND REDUCTION OF OPERATING COSTS.
