Experienced enterprise architect and technology strategist in the healthcare space With over 16 years of experience with nearly every category of enterprise technology with significant engagements in data warehousing, business intelligence and predictive analytics I've gained insights into the payer space and healthcare in general which help accelerate our capability development daily. Because I started outside of IT, in planning and strategy I think I come to discussions from a different perspective than folks who come from a computer science background, For example, I worked on projects during college contributing to the creation of a global network of research scientists to do research. I was tapped to participate in world resource modeling projects by the Club of Rome, led analytic programs for congressional reporting programs in HUD's Office for Block Grants in Washington, served as Economic Development Coordinator for the City of Buffalo. From there I moved to IT and established personal computing and end user computing programs at Welch's as well as leading their network and emerging technology program. At the same time I served two terms as Town Supervisor in upstate NY. Developed Enterprise Architecture Review program at Independence Blue Cross, establishing new roadmaps and standards. Served 4 years on Borough Council in southeastern Pennsylvania. Travelled to Thailand to teach monks at a Buddhist Wat near Ratchaburi. Explored Southeast asia. Moved to managing the enterprise architecture group at BCBS Louisiana in Baton Rouge and then shifted to being a Lead Domain Architect providing broad career experiences working with new technologies from Microsoft Power to Open AI and ServiceNow.
