I have over 20 years of military,and law enforcement experience. I had the amazing opportunity to serve both my country while serving on active duty in the Coast Guard, and my city, while serving as Police Officer. Currently, I am assigned to the Emergency Management Division , at SECNY , as a Port Security Specialist with the United States Coast Guard, it is my responsibility to assess maritime security risks, and support coordinated planning and protection measures to defeat associated threats. In addition, I am also responsible for infrastructure recovery to the Maritime Transportation System during an incident ,and responsible for aiding in the resumption of maritime commerce.Previously , I worked for the New York City Police Department, where I retired as a Sergeant. Proficient in criminal law and investigations, supervising patrol and investigative units ,internal auditing/risk management mitigation, asset acquisition/negotiations, physical security assessments as well as emergency response and planning , all while working closely with various local , state , federal and private partners. I work hard in everything I do, how you do anything, is how you do everything. I believe friendships are the key to success, and one of the most important things in life.
