Q2 23 production @ 8.6 mboed (net Aker BP)Our focus going forward is safe and efficient operations with an emphasis on improving production efficiency and significantly reducing operational expenditure as part of late life operations strategy (UT28). UT28 was officially launched in early 2023 and will transition from design to implementation phase October 23. The PMO and project team consisting of Aker BP resources, with a limited number of management consultants. Our consistent focus on stakeholder management, including engagement with onshore and offshore personnel, safety delegates, and unions, has resulted in strong ownership across the organization. The next phase will drive down annual OPEX through lower activity levels (optimised maintenance program), lower manning (onshore and offshore) and the establishment of a sustainable cost culture. Cease of production is set to 2028 hence studies for estimated 1 bn$ decommissioning and P&A project kicked off late 2022. Show less

Field development activities included the completion of the Boa Attic South infill well and the drilling of the Volund P5 sidetrack. Additionally, three new PDOs were fast-tracked to take advantage of the temporary tax regime following the Covid pandemic. The PDO for Kobra East Gekko, consisting of four tri-lateral wells targeting 50 mmboe, and the PDO for Frosk, consisting of two multilateral wells targeting 6.2 mmboe, were submitted in 2021. The PDO for Trell and Trine, consisting of two multilateral wells targeting 26 mmboe, was submitted in 2022, well within the deadline. As a result of thorough analysis Alvheim COP was extended from 2032 to 2040. This, in turn, triggered a need for a technical Lifetime Extension project with a budget frame of estimated 3 bn NOK.Additional activities included replacement of two anchor chains, upgrade of hull control system, installation of seven production guide base covers, upgrade of water and gas handling capacity, upgrade of living quarter and upgrade of ballast control system. My team and I facilitated 12 mandatory annual leadership training sessions for both offshore and onshore management in Operations, benchmarked individual leadership skills, and provided personalized follow-up and group coaching.Under my leadership, all operations personnel, including all Engineering capacity, were transferred to this department, making it the largest in Aker BP with over 1500+ individuals across central functions and assets such as Alvheim, Ula, Valhall, Ivar Aasen, and Skarv.I spearheaded the successful "Endringsreisen 2020" change program, which focused on end-users and leaders, to facilitate a smooth transition from Workmate to SAP PM. The majority of operations personnel completed several training sessions both onshore and offshore.Following the merger between BP and Detnorske, we played a key role in standardizing "how we work" by designing and implementing "Driftsmodellen 1.0" using internal resources.
