Global COO for Prime Services

Responsibility for overseeing daily operations and managing strategic direction of Global Markets Equities covering Prime Services, Primary and Secondary Cash Trading and Electronic Trading in the Americas and Europe.• Led global team of 30 individuals in New York, London, and Dublin that interacts with Prime Services staff, Shared Services and GM management and focuses on execution of daily control oversight, strategy and status of financials and capital. • Represented Equities through a restructuring of Global Markets in early 2016 focused on business consolidation, allocation adjustments and delivery of new strategy. • Regular interaction with several key regulators (FINMA, PRA, FINRA, Fed and CBI) to present Equities strategy and challenges/hurdles facing the franchise.• Chair of Equities Management Committee, Member of Global Markets Equities Operating Committee and lead Global Markets representative for Legal Entity Design Board. Represent Equities on several platform initiatives across Risk, Finance and Operations.• Project Manager for migration of Prime Services businesses out of UK subsidiary into a branch of CS AG in Dublin, Ireland. Oversee project team of 400 staff, 200mm budget covering technology and branch setup costs. Responsible for setup of new office in Dublin that employs over 100 people across Prime Services and Shared Services. Achieved targets of movement of Balance Sheet and RWA across entities in the Americas and Europe. • Successfully led efforts to reduce direct expenses by 15% in 2016. Coordinated with Corporate Functions to represent a plan for further allocated expense reductions of 10 to 15% by 2018. • Oversee Technology budget of over 100 million focusing on regulatory deliverables pertaining to IOSCO, 871m, various control improvements and implementation of several trading upgrades.• Responsible for financial forecasting, focused on revenue, expenses, headcount and RWA.
