Skills:• Public Speaking/ communicating:Extensive experience in debating and public speaking which aids in being an active participant in group meetings and presenting ideas in an effective manner, from competing in inter-varsity debating and running public house debates in UCD. I also have completed multiple French courses both within and outside France, attaining an advanced level of French.• Technical Competencies:I have familiarity with Statistical software such as Stata, Rstudio and Microsoft Office Suite from University statistical courses, including a course taken in advanced econometrics. I also have extensive quantitative reasoning skills from a heavily math based degree.• Leadership:Effective intercultural management skills and experience, experience in leadership roles in student societies (House Debate’s convenor/ Freshers representative), school councils (Doha College/Cashel Community School), founding my own debate society in Cashel Community School and in being elected to Tipperary Comhairle na Nog (Youth council). I have also studied Global Leadership in UC Berkeley to be a more effective intercultural leader. In my current role as a micro-economics instructor for UCD I plan and run lessons every week independently for highly gifted students.• Analytical skills:UCD Entrance Scholar for earning 578 CAO points, completed 2 summer university courses in Sciences Po and was awarded a year abroad to University of California Berkeley. Currently attaining a 1:1 with a GPA of 3.71. I have also written numerous articles on economics for UCD’s College Tribune.
