I am an experienced Claims Handler in the Professional Indemnity market. I initially began in the market at Marsh Commercial as a Claims Advisor. I gained a wide exposure to a full range of professions. In particular the type of claims they receive and what coverage issues they face. Whilst working at RPC I gained experience working in a law firm as a Claims Handler handling claims for their QBE National scheme (Construction) and Sompo scheme (Solicitors). I am now working at Beale & Co handling accountant claims, solicitor claims, surveyor claims, structural engineer claims and miscellaneous claims. I assist Insureds with drafting responses/letters to claimants'/claimants' solicitors' letters of claims. I also assist Insureds with assessing their liability, negotiating settlement where appropriate, and assessing policy response.I am currently studying for the Cilex Paralegal Foundation qualification. Legal Systems and Contract Law modules completed so far. Prior to entering the insurance law world I studied Music and performed regularly in a range of different bands. I specialise in guitar playing and singing well known pop/rock songs. I am therefore always up for karaoke.
