Moynihan Train Hall Phase III, New York, NY- Skanska is completing this construction management contract for core and shellredevelopment of approximately 850,000-SF of the James A. Farley Post Office Building as partof its multi-phased transformation into Moynihan Train Hall. Shell work includes restoration ofexterior façade of the Annex building including replacement of all windows, doors, repointingand cleaning, roof and a new skylight as well as new street level entrances allowing access to the32nd street corridor and interior atrium opening up through the fourth floor. Core work includesinstallation of 26 new elevators and building new cores on each floor consisting of new mechanical rooms, electrical closets, toilet rooms and IT closets. Positive work performance on the Phase I and II projects contributed to Skanska being selected by the developer as the core and shell contractor for the third and final phase of the program. Role: Project Manager

(Early Work ) Moynihan Train Hall Phase III, New York, NY- The $339 million Phase Three scope of the project involved developing the core and shellof the James A. Farley Building, along with 730,000-SF of office, and 120,000-SF of retail space. The early work portion included activities such as asbestos abatement, architectural demolition, and existing freight elevator demolition. This allowed Skanska to immediately start work following design completion, and self-perform structural steel and other components of the project. Role: Senior Project Engineer

Institute for Advanced Study, Food Services Renovation, Simons Dining Hall, Princeton, NJ- $9.6 million, 3,200-SF extension to the current Simons Dining Hall. Work covered the expansionand renovation of the commercial kitchen, storage areas, and adjacent site work. Dining serviceshad to remain operational during construction, so we installed a temporary modular kitchen andserver facilities, medication of campus utilities, and temporary acoustic barrier. Role: InternThe Saint Nicholas National Shrine at the World Trade Center, New York, NY- As the original church was destroyed by the September 11th attacks, the new $26 million, 12,000-SF Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church will sit 25 feet above street level and will overlook the National September 11 Memorial & Museum. Designed by world-renowned architect, Santiago Calatrava, this domed steel and concrete structure will be built on a four-foot thick concrete mat and the exterior will be clad with custom-designed panels made of Pentelic marble imported from Greece. These panels will allow the building to glow in the evening while appearing like solid stone during the day. The interior will include glass-reinforced gypsum, stone floors, and iconography. The cross, which was salvaged from the original church, will be placed on top of the dome. Role: Intern
