About Thomas Davison

Thomas W. Davison, Ph.D. is a retired medical device entrepreneur/executive/scientist. He currently consults and advises select emerging medical device companies on strategy and financing. Currently, he is advising Transverse Medical, and FlexDex (former Chairman, CEO). Dr. Davison Chairman, CEO and co-founder of HistoSonics; President and CEO of Sontra Medical Corporation (NASDAQ SC: SONT) which merged with Echo Therapeutics; he wasco-founder and CEO of Endius, Inc.; acquired by Zimmer; and co-founder and President of UltraCision; acquired by Ethicon (J&J).Dr. Davison holds over 45 patents on medical device technologies. He served on the boards of two public (NASDAQ & NYSE) and seven private companies. Dr. Davison holds a BA in Biology/Chemistry (’68) and an MS (’70) and Ph.D. (’72) in mammalian physiology from Kent State University.
