Reporting directly to Group CEO, responsible for the day to day operation of the Environmental Division of DCC. Been involved since the inception of the division when the Irish hazardous waste operations were moved from the Energy division. From this point the division has grown to be one of the leading environmental businesses in Britain and Ireland with leading positions in the Irish hazardous waste sector, Scottish hazardous and non hazardous sectors, East Midlands non hazardous sector and the British waste oil collection and processing markets. This has been achieved by both organic development and acquisition, the largest being the investment in William Tracey, Scotland's leading waste management business.

Along with the Divisional Managing Director and Finance Director, responsible for the development of two of DCC's divisions by way of both organic growth and acquisitions. Attended monthly review meetings and worked with company management to realise development plans. Worked on the acquisition of DCC's first major oil acquisition in the UK in addition to two major LPG acquisitions also in the UK. Also involved in the acquisition of a wine distribution business in the UK and two environmental businesses in Ireland as part of the Energy division.

Responsible for preparation of plc consolidated monthly management accounts. Responsible for preparation of half year and full year results including liaising with group auditors. Responsible for preparation of group budget and assisted CFO in acquisition of 50% joint venture.

Responsible for the preparation of monthly accounts for approximately 30 head office companies

Group senior on audit of multinational and semi state companies. Preparation of partnership accounts on behalf of two of Dublin's leading solicitors practices. Sales and purchase side due diligence accounting services.
