Responsibilities include taking initial telephone interviews with potential clients, conducting meetings with clients to explain the workers’ compensation and personal injury processes, maintaining client files, drafting complaints, drafting discovery requests and responses, drafting demands to insurance companies, reviewing medical records, drafting medical summaries, and filing pleadings with State courts.

Reviewing the hundreds of complaints served on the Metropolitan Government and opening initial lawsuit files, drafting discovery requests and responses to hundreds of lawsuits including but not limited to tort, contract, property, and discrimination suits filed on behalf of and against the Metropolitan Government, drafting medical record summaries, filing pleadings with the state courts as well as electronically in Federal Court and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, maintaining physical and electronic case files, calendaring court deadlines and attorney meetings.

Taking initial telephone interviews with potential clients, conducting meetings with clients to explain the social security disability process, maintaining client files, reviewing medical records, drafting medical summaries, and requesting records from client’s medical providers.
