My name is Thomas deGroot I am graduate from Fleming College’s Protection, Security and Investigations program and I’m currently seeking full time employment within a security company or Government department that has room for further advancement and future qualifications. I am new to the security industry but not new to the concepts and requirements needed to be a security professional. I have been in the work force for over 15 years including 12 years a Wasaga Beach Paintball where I was in charge of not only the organization and operation of the games,and the overall field, I was also in charge of ensuring the safety and security of all staff and customers ranging from 50 people to over 1500. That experience plus my years’ operating a drill rig all over Ontario have gained me the ability to be very adaptable to stressful situations at any time of the day in any weather. Although I have a large imposing stature (6’9), I am very well read and educated and have the ability to switch form a security mindset to a salesman at a moment notice. I always make a point on educating myself on the companies that employ me in order to properly represent them. I’m an extremely hard worker; I work well in team environments as well as being left alone to do individual work. I’m ambitious, hardworking, adaptable, loyal and reliable.
