As a TSA I am expected to conduct a full infrastructure audit of both existing and perspective clients. This is typically completed on-site with access to servers and networked equipment or remotely using our remote access tools. When auditing a client I am expected to produce a client facing report, detailing the following three sections:• Your Current Infrastructure• Your Current Paint Points• The Recommended Solution I also produce a project scope and costing report for the proposed solution. This is then presented to the client by a member of our Sales team, often with me present as an expert technical resource. Should the sale be successful I write an additional project process document alongside the nominated lead project engineer. This report will include the project success criteria and the pre-arranged compliance testing.

As a 3rd tier Advanced Support Team Engineer I dealt primarily with issues that the 1st and 2nd tier have already attempted to rectify. Any assigned work would be demed as highly complex, or critically disruptive to the client.

As a 2nd Tier Support Technician, I primarily dealt with issues escalated from our 1st line support team, as such the issues would have been confirmed as complex, and potentially time sensitive.As part of the role, I had extensive experience with the following technologies:HyperV (Core and GUI versions)VSphereWindows Server (2003 through to 2012R2)Mac Server 10 (10.6 through to 10.11)Microsoft Exchange (2003 through to 2013)Number of hosted email solutions including Office 365 and G-SuiteDomain ManagementWindows desktop platforms (XP through to Windows10)All versions of Mac OSXBackup and disaster recovery software including: Backup Exec, Shadow Protect, Veeam, Windows Server BackupAs a 2nd tier engineer I was expected to be in regular contact with key contacts with the affected client business, detailing my current investigation, and expected resolution plans, and setting expectations for a resolution times.

I monitored and maintained both physical and virtual servers (including set up). I also maintained the network (LAN) with numerous switches and was 3rd line support on all Apple products. I also volunteered for Staff Governor filling a number of positions including Link Governor of Attendance.Y Pant School had a user base of approx. 1400 users consisting of Staff\Pupils\Community members. At the time, Y Pant school had 16 servers and over 300 client computers. Operating systems where mixed however I attempted to standardise to Windows Server 2012R2 (Running on our Hyper-V platform) and Windows 7 64bit. As part of this role I created a number of desktop images for each department, and would deploy these to problematic computers or new clients via Windows Deployment Services. Before leaving Y Pant for RockIT I setup a SCCM system to implement a Zero Touch Installation on desktops.During the schools network expansion I designed and assisted in deployment of our networking infrastructure. This included: Running network cables, terminating the RJ45 connections to sockets and cable management solutions. Configuring our 36 HP switches with VLANs\Aggregated links and trunked connections.I supported all onsite electronic equipment including: Printers\Scanners\Projectors\Tablets and Canteen Biometric equipment.
