Perform product audits on all manufactured goods.  Verify components, assemblies, and complete products are built per Engineering drawings and work is done per production work instructions.Perform audits by running through a series of tests to verify they meet all quality, legal, and customer requirments.Write up Product Audit Test Procedures per safety standards while working with engineering to closely simulate pre-production testing.Complete audit reports and enter all reports and information into INTELEX.  Hold meetings with all members of value stream to go over any findings, to determine the next steps, and to assign responsiblity.Perform testing on products that have received a customer complaint.  Test to verify if the issue is due to product or due to improper use.Performed Firewall audits on 10% of products that came off the line to look for any issues that may have been missed in production test.  To help eliminate out of box failures.

• Part of the Arrow Engineering team. Responsibilities include building, testing and troubleshooting new designs of home standby Gensets. Mainly work on gensets that range from 10kW up to 500kW.• Build gensets from the ground up using engineering build books. Note issues with components or with the actual build plans so that when builds go into production there are no problems.• Set up for tests using the proper equipment and instrumentation that is specified by the Engineer in the test request. Some of the equipment used to perform and record tests are TDAC’s, Cyflex, Simplex, InPower, EngTool, E-Controls, AVL, ViewGraph, Picoscope, Yokagawa, Agilent, Dranetz, Fluke Meters and the Emissions Bench.• Engine and alternator tuning using different types of software (E-controls, Calterm, Inpower, Monitor, and Engineering Tool).• Run series of tests on Gensets and work with Engineers to determine if software or mechanical updates are needed. • Troubleshoot, build, repair and record all issues that may arise during testing.• Removal and Installation of components to either compare or replace defective components.• Write up test reports to capture all steps taken and all outcomes that occurred during the testing. Provide clear details so that reports can be reviewed by anyone at any time and be clearly understood. • Work with others to complete tasks. Pass on knowledge and relay instructions/procedures and make sure to leave others with everything needed to complete their tasks correctly and efficiently.• Completed PIV, Hoist and Crane, Rigging, Fire, First Aid/CPR/AED, working from heights, Diversity and Electrical Training courses provided at Cummins.

• Worked mainly with prototype engines on the Engine Dynamometer.• Adjust Engine Stand to fit Engines and modified fuel, exhaust, cooling, and intake components as needed for each engine.• Place all equipment (pressure transducers, temperature sensors, flow meters, etc.) in designated areas to achieve correct readings.• Set up EDAQ to collect all data from the engine.• Run engine following the Bare Engine Dynamometer test procedures to produce power curves while logging data with EDAQ.• Place data onto spreadsheets to determine if engine meets required specifications.• Write test report containing critical data, procedures taken, and all equipment used during the testing. Send report off to the assigned Engineer for approval.• Instrument and perform testing on Hydraulic and Cooling systems.
