Macquarie Air works closely with the TOLL Group to deliver freight to rural and regional NSW. It consists of single pilot IFR freight operations in C208, PAC750XL and PA31-350 chieftains. I have been fortunate enough that this role has given me experience in both the Honeywell TPE331-12JR and PT6-34 turbine engines. . I am also checked as a training captain and conduct ICUS line training with new hire pilots on the C208 Caravan.

Daintree Air Services is a well established and fast paced air charter company based in Cairns. My experience has been comprised of reef scenic flights in the GA8 Airvan and the C172 as well as IFR charter in Piper PA31-350 Chieftains. My IFR charter experience has exposed me to the challenges of wet season flying in Far North Queensland and has taught me how to mitigate and deal with the adverse weather conditions it provides. Flying the Piper Chieftain has also provided me with the required knowledge and understanding of the power management requirements of a turbo-charged aircraft engine.

I served as a rifleman with the 5th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment, located in Darwin. My time in the Army instilled in me a solid work ethic over the years, and an outstanding sense of responsibility. This experience enabled me to develop the mindset that has allowed me to achieve my goals, and rise to meet any challenge that has presented itself so far. During my 4 years of service I had the privilege of being promoted and granted leadership responsibilities, which I embraced with the highest level of professionalism. I pride myself in taking my work ethic, sense of responsibility and professionalism with me wherever I go. The skills and professional attributes I have developed due to working within a highly team oriented and disciplined environment, are a credit to the Australian Army and a testament for what can be achieved post-service.
