On a day to day basis I worked in identifying market opportunities and developing ways in which to capitalize on them. I was directly responsible for increasing market share and enhancing business development. Two council tenders won (estimated cumulative value: £2m)Developed existing relationships with blue chip clients (Johnson Matthey, Bannatynes) Created online quotation for company website (www.billinghampress.co.uk) Led numerous email-marketing campaigns. Business development into new markets, expanding client base, creating opportunities and reducing costs through networking and utilizing resources and opportunities Risk management- review of potential client's financials to gauge credit worthiness Holding of bimonthly meetings with the directors and other management to illustrate direction and strategy of the marketing approach.

Currently I'm working on a development project of a 'super-green' power plant that uses bacteria to break down household matter and supply green energy. The other part of the project is an advanced thermal treatment plant which recycles material without releasing any emissions.

I was based in Brisbane working with their client; Australian Power and Gas (APG). I was hired into a team to help create new innovative advertising and marketing techniques with the aim of increasing market awareness of APG.

I assisted in the initial commissioning of the bar and restaurant to meet the deadline for a high profile opening. I also served in the silver service restaurant and at another restaurant that belonged to the Biltmore group. When working for Biltmore I was also involved in the organisation and serving at the Festival of Angels in York, which is a major event for local companies and international brands such as Red Bull.
