Lead or contribute to cross-functional teams to design/redesign to cost actions. Issue enquiry with support of Project Purchasing and analyze offer in cooperation with engineering. Common use of strategic purchasing tools and processes, introduce best practice within sourcing team and within PC Nanjing organization; set up the common approach of the Way We Do Things between different divisions within sourcing activities. Work with continuous improvement and share experience with the Nanjing PC organization and PCs in other sites. Generate a high level of teamwork between all departments; ensure constant coaching and development of all team members. Ensure an organization with the right competence and capacity and ensure that all people management processes are in place.  Supporting company projects 1) Search and choose more qualified suppliers. 2) Negotiate competitive total cost with assigned suppliers for assigned commodities. 3) Work with supplier quality team to develop and implement quality improvement targets and programs for assigned new suppliers. 4) Work closely with D&D team coordinating communications with current supplier to ensure that assigned suppliers respond quickly and fully understand Atlas Copco’s requirements regarding lead time, technical specifications and quality. Price management: 1) Regular price negotiation with assigned suppliers (1 time or 2 times per year) to keep reducing the parts cost; 2) Make sure all commercial master data (price, lead time, MOQ) are correct in the system; Supplier management: 1) Have yearly evaluation plan (TSQP) for assigned suppliers, keep tracking and improving the quality of supplier. 2) Make sure supply contract with all appendixes was signed. 3) Negotiate with assigned suppliers and achieve the lead time target. 4) Negotiate with assigned suppliers and achieve the payment term target. 5) Delivery performance follows up & enhances improvement. 6) Support SQE for supplier quality issues resolve. 7) To improve communication and develop relationship with assigned suppliers in the spirit of open and friendly partnership. 8) Responsible commodities: Steel structures, machined parts, key components including power pack, axle, cardan shaft, exhaust system, wheels.
