As a member of the Executive Steering Team, the position required the development of a quality strategy focusing on a preventive action culture and increasing levels of quality performance through daily influence with the Corporate Team, Site General Managers, and Functional leaders. This role required regular interface with the Customers and detailed planning and execution of strategy, goals and objectives to meet the overall business strategy and quality vision.

Responsible for the management and integration of Quality programs and systems for GKN St. Louis Business Unit, including Continuous Improvement & Lean Manufacturing. Position requires the oversight and management of Quality and Lean processes affecting $350M Sales per annum business operation. Deliverable product from St. Louis site primarily on Boeing Programs (F/A-18, C-17, T-45, F-15, & Apache, 787) consisting of complex Composite and large Machine parts/components, in addition to state of the art Resin Transfer Molding (RTM). Responsible for the direct report and management functions for all Quality operations including; Receiving Inspection, Quality Engineering & Planning, Supplier Quality, In-Process & Final Inspection, Metrology, Quality Systems, Non-Destructive Testing, Coordinate Measurement Machine Inspection, and Customer Liaison Support. In addition, provide chair leadership on the international GKN Aerospace Quality Process Council and implementation of the GKN Business Excellence Model based on the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) process.
