Hello! I’m Thomas. Here’s a bit about me. I decided that I wanted to pursue a career in pharmaceuticals during my undergraduate in Biomedical Engineering, and I was fascinated by the material. After graduation, I went to work for a peptide manufacturer in QA. There, I gained an increased appreciation for the importance of doing things “right the first time,” as QA often deals with what can go wrong in manufacturing. The manufacturing environment is very different than the “design and iterate” philosophy I encountered throughout my engineering education, but when it comes to product impact, there is no cutting corners. As I continue my pharma career, I will combine my engineering education and my experience in manufacturing QA to become an effective, efficient, and safe engineer.
