About Thomas Duret
Hello, my name is Thomas, and I'm looking for a job in the fields of languages and multiculturalism.These two areas have always been my priorities, whether it be in my university career in translation, or in my various professional experiences as a French teacher abroad. Working in a multicultural environment has always been the most important thing for me. I was able to do so in France, Italy, the United States and Spain, where was given the chance to start various projects linked to cultural exchange. My training as a translator has enabled me to acquire undeniable writing skills, which I can put to good use in delivering translations in any field and in editing. It has also sharpened my creativity and curiosity, which enables me to be particularly effective when it comes to creating content. Teaching French as a foreign language in three different countries has given me a deep understanding of the teaching expectations in different cultures. I have worked with several types of pedagogy and have developed considerable adaptability skills. I have also acted as a cultural ambassador during my various experiences abroad, making strong connections with people all over the world and contributing to the outreach of the French-speaking world. Finally, my knowledge of the field of culture and my love for travels also led me to take interest in the tourism sector. I've had the opportunity to work as a tour guide, leading tours in several languages. I am an easy-going person, so communicating with visitors from all over the world is not a problem for me.
