Tom Duzan graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture in 1992. He married in 1993 and worked in the Campus Architect office at Auburn until 1996, when his wife graduated as a pharmacist. Mr. Duzan had always been Called to start his own practice and in 1996, he moved to Charlotte, NC to pursue that Calling. After serving with two different firms in Charlotte, he joined David Eve and Brooks Runkle in 2003 to establish a new firm, Redline Design Group, which has just celebrated its 20th Anniversary. Redline Design Group is a humble, medium-sized firm of over 50 employees in Charlotte and over 25 employees in Raleigh. In 2022, Redline joined forces with Phillips Architecture in Raleigh to increase our influence into the Raleigh-Durham area, but we perform our services all over the world. Our Mission is to "Build Relationships by Design" and provide unsurpassed, customized design service for every client, while having fun doing what we were gifted to do.Mr. Duzan's future goals are to help his fellow Principals run the most integrity-based and client-service-driven architecture firm in the region and set the firm up for future success. He intends to do this for years to come, establishing long-lasting relationships with a strong group of repeat clients and a highly-skilled design staff who put people first.
