β ππ‘ππ π ππ¨ - I Support higher education and advocate for students through activities related to sales and marketing, enrollment processes, academic interventions, and retention strategies.β ππ¨π° π ππ¨ ππ‘π’π¬ - With my experience as a primary (high school) education teacher, school counselor, and assistant principal, I possess the knowledge and expertise of pedagogy, administration, academic, college and career, and personal and social counseling. Serving in higher education has provided me with a strong foundation in appropriate recruiting and enrollment processes through targeted sales strategies and marketing techniques. Working directly with students allows me to communicate and apply motivational, personal, and academic interventions that are necessary to support and encourage successful social and academic progress toward the attainment of their personal and vocational goals.As an accessory responsibility to my role in higher education I serve as an adjunct instructor (undergraduate and graduate) in which I have taught the following courses: Environmental Science, Statistics, various Psychology courses, Research Methods, Organizational Leadership, and Technology in Higher Education.β ππ² ππ±π©ππ«π’ππ§ππ - Among the many responsibilities that I have assumed within my professional career, I have been able to gain a diverse set of skills related to educational programming and instruction, curriculum design, staff supervision, public relations, marketing and development, data integration, budget management. My doctoral dissertation, related to Adult Learning Theory and learning structures within asynchronous environments, has served as an extremely valuable asset to my pursuits in higher education and Instructional Design. A few of my professional accomplishments involve the creation of a 9-12th-grade academic intervention program, a school-wide teacher evaluation model and rubric, the design of a quarterly electronic school district newsletter as a community-wide advertising and communication tool, and many curriculum scripts and blueprints, job aides and infographics, and professional presentations. These experiences and accomplishments were gained while serving as a high school teacher, high school assistant principal, high school counselor, and college adjunct instructor.I believe that the valuable experiences I obtained within the scope of my undergraduate, graduate, and employment tenure have provided me with a confident foundation to serve effectively in higher education or the corporate setting.
