After parent company was purchased and CITGO spun-off as a separate entity, as Assistant to the Controller was responsible for assuring contractual deadlines were met; pushed the total purchase price down to individual assets; developed new accounting policies and procedures; and served as external auditor liaison. Following sale of CITGO, discussed variances between actual and budgeted results with new owner.
