It is a 501 (c) (3) fund inspired by Blaine during his battle with cancer.Pray Strong's mission is to inspire people, especially the young to understand the Power of Prayer, to pray for the sick, the injured and the dying; and most importantly for all individuals to accept God's Will. After Basic Training in Alameda, CA I was temporarily stationed at USCG Air Station San Diego, then attended Corps School at US Naval Hospital in San DIego. Upon completion I was transferred to the US Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT for advanced training for independent duty. After completion of the program I was transferred to USCG Captain of the Port - Philadelphia located in Camden, NJ. I was then selected as one of the first four Corpsmen to be stationed at USCG Air Station Mobile, AL to be trained as Search & Rescue Air-crewmen to be assigned to the flight crews of helicopter detachments being deployed to Operation Deepfreeze in Antarctica and Operation Arctic East, both aboard the icebreaker USCGC Edisto. During the following two year period, I had the privilege of crossing all four lines of demarcation of the earth; the Equator, International Date Line, Antarctic and Arctic Circles. I completed my tour of duty in the Coast Guard as a Corpsman and SAR Air Crewman at Air Station-Mobile. Four great years of making life long friends and experiencing parts of the world seen by only a fraction of the earth's population.God Bless America!
