The Hedden Family Farm LLC is a family owned farm having been operated by a member of the Hedden family since 1864. The farm consists of 84 acres of rolling farmland situated on the banks of Jeptha Creek in southeast Shelby County. The farm has by history produced beef, hogs, tobacco, and row crops. It has been the home to five generations of Hedden. A tobacco barn on the farm is also a historic structure having stood more than 100 years. This barn is one of the stops on the Shelby County Barn Quilt trail. The Hedden Farm is a Kentucky Bicentennial Farm. Hedden is a recent graduate of the University of Kentucky Master Cattlemen Program.
